With over four decades of extensive experience in the electrical industry, my career journey has encompassed various roles that have honed my expertise and shaped my passion for electrical services. Beginning as an electrician in the 1970s, I underwent a rigorous four-year apprenticeship in the electrical contracting sector. Following this, I transitioned to working as a maintenance craftsman within the NHS until my late 20s.

Recognising my inclination towards electrical services design, I pursued a career as an electrical consulting engineer for the next 30 years. Throughout this period, I had the privilege of contributing to numerous projects across diverse sectors, including Health Care, Education (Schools, Colleges, and Universities), Offices, Leisure facilities, custodial establishment, and Retail establishments. These projects were spread across the United Kingdom and the Middle East, further broadening my professional exposure and understanding of international standards and practices.

Over the past ten years, I have channelled my wealth of skills and experience into the realm of forensic investigation and report writing as an Electrical Expert. My portfolio comprises approximately 60 successfully completed reports, covering a wide spectrum of cases, such as personal injury assessments, comprehensive diagnoses of complex electrical faults, and in-depth investigations into the causes of major delays, faulty systems and design disputes. These assignments have encompassed both the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, and I have provided expert testimony under cross-examination, solidifying my reputation as a reliable and credible professional in legal proceedings.

My methodical and logical approach, coupled with an innate curiosity, greatly benefits my investigative work.
